Event will focus on education and career opportunities for students throughout Miami-Dade County
MIAMI – October 26, 2016 – The 100 Black Men of South Florida, Inc., in partnership with Miami-Dade County Public Schools, will host its 5th Annual College & Career Expo on Thursday, October 29th at the Miami-Dade County Fair & Exposition Center from 8AM-2PM.
The College & Career Expo gives students the opportunity to visit various colleges and universities on-site and gather valuable information regarding financial aid, applications and more. Additionally, students will learn more about the various routes they can take after graduation from admissions representatives, including four-year college programs, two-year college programs, technical training and military careers. The event will also offer tips and information for students interested in entering the workforce immediately after graduation and for those students who are still undecided about what to do next. More than 5,000 students throughout Miami-Dade County are expected to attend the event.
